Product-first software engineer. Who I am, what I build, and the tools I reach for.

Who I am
I'm Narayan, a software engineer in Bangalore who cares about products, not just code. Five-plus years shipping full-stack apps across mobile and web, usually end to end: a rough idea, the build, real users, then fixing whatever breaks.
It started with Java in 2014, a bored kid in class 8 messing around. First mobile app in 2017, and the hobby quietly became the job. Now I'm a Software Developer 2 at Posha on Posha Bot, kitchen automation that cooks for families. Before that, production apps at Caravel, Velozity, and Embrays, mostly Flutter, plus the backends and cloud behind them.
I don't have strong opinions about which framework is winning this month. I do have strong opinions about shipping things that hold up once real people touch them. Lately I've been going deep on system design and agentic AI, and reading too much about business and finance on the side.
What I do
- Mobile: Flutter apps, end to end, from UI libraries to the full order and auth lifecycles.
- Web: React and Next.js frontends.
- Backend: Node.js and GraphQL APIs, with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis behind them.
- Cloud and DevOps: GCP, Docker, and the pipelines that ship it all.
